Dear Members, Players, Coaches, Families, and Supporters, I am honoured and excited to introduce myself as the new President of our basketball club. As I step into this role, I want to first express my heartfelt gratitude to our outgoing president and the dedicated committee members, both past and present, who have worked tirelessly to build the strong foundation we stand on today.

To Allison, thank you for your exceptional leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment to our club. Your dedication has not only elevated our programs but has also fostered a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and community spirit that defines who we are. The countless hours you and your family have invested, the challenges you've navigated, and the successes you've achieved have left an indelible mark on our organization. The Crozier family has contributed significantly to the Lions Basketball Club for more than 13 years. We extend our sincere appreciation for your dedication, care, and continued support.

I also want to recognise our outgoing Treasurer, Regina Reid for her invaluable service. Your care, accuracy and integrity, has been critical to providing opportunities for our players and supporting our volunteers. We are incredibly grateful for your service.

As we move forward, I am dedicated to strengthening our existing foundation while pursuing new avenues for development and innovation. My strategic vision for the club emphasises expanding youth development programs and enhancing support systems for coaches and team managers. We will continue fostering a strong culture throughout both our Junior and Senior teams and remain committed to making basketball accessible and rewarding for individuals of all skill levels and backgrounds.

I look forward to working alongside our current committee members, coaches, volunteers, and the entire basketball community to write the next exciting chapter of our club's story. Together, we remain committed to fostering talent, developing character, and creating lasting memories on and off the court.
